Ladies DVC Watch

I called Vero back about 2 months ago and ordered a mens and a womens DVC watch, which they sent to me and all was good. Here is my problem that hopefully you all can help me with, my Queen says it is to big for her wrist. It is still in its original packaging we took it out to look at it and that was it, so it is still brand new, I am wearing mine everyday I love it. We are going to be at the BCV over Thanksgiving is there any way that I can return it to the Beach Club or do I have to pack it up and send it back to Vero?

I just wondered if anyone else has bought something at one DVC resort and then returned it elsewhere?

If BCV doesn't want to take it back, you'll probably sell this pretty easily on eBay.

Why not take it to a jeweler and have some links taken out so it will fit? That's what I'm going to do.

I appreciate that, because I actually had to do that myself, I should have been more specific, the face of the watch is to big for her wrist, it wasn't the size of the band. Sorry for the confusion.

That they were able to take their watch to the MK Jeweler and they removed several links from her DVC watch at no cost.

That's what I plan on doing in Dec when I am there.

For what it is worth, I agree with your wife. I tried one on when I was there a few weeks ago and felt the face was too big. My husband bought one, but I passed!

You MAY even be able to take it back to your local DS. They accept merchandise from any WDW store so I assume that would include Vero Beach, but I am not positive. They would only take it back with the original reciept.

I think you have 30 days to send it back. You could try and sell it on e-bay.

Or you could offer it to a DVC Member on here who might not be able to get to WDW to purchase one themselves.

It seems like not to long ago we were watching Illuminations from our balcony and met you. I have to go to the Disney Store in Lansing so maybe I will take it with me and try.

Yep Tom, that was me and of course the rest of my family! We just returned from WDW and had that same room! Just love the view. Because of the hurricanes you can even see a bit more than before now! There are a few times as the gobe is coming out to the center that you can completely see it.

Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to try the DS if you going to be in the mall anyway!

Terry, thanks for the advice on taking the watch back to TDS. We were at the Lansing Mall earlier today and the Disney Store took it back with no problem...in fact, one of their employees (Suzanne) who is also a DVC memeber purchased it herself before we were even out of the store!!! She was very excited!
