I just started going back to the gym after a several year lay off -- about 5 years. The same gym I always went to, at the same time.... late mornings.
Wow, things are different. The day time hours have always had a majority of women there. I guess due to SAHM stuff, or silmilar.
Anyway, except for the women, let's say, over 40, most of the women in my gym are very hard core! They are built like Mack Trucks!. They have muscles on top of their muscles. They sweat harder than any man I see in the gym, though I am one of the few men there during the late morning, early afternoons.
They have more tatoos than a lot of men.
I don't know, it just seems strange to me. I'm not saying anything is wrong with that, but it is definitely a different , I don't know, shall we say, "style" of woman who seems to be pumping the iron.
Reasons? Agree? Disagree?
No need to flame... this is just an observation, not a judgement.

When I lift, I go heavy, but in *no way* am I near the musculature of a true bodybuilder--my biggest accomplishment so far is being able to out push-up my dh!
