...likes to bring her own hairdryer rather than use the hotel's?

Please tell me I am not crazy (like my DH thinks!!!) :earboy2:

Yikes, 5 weeks til our first trip - staying at POFQ :earseek:

Nope, you're not crazy... or we both are! I also bring my own; I tend to burn out those little ones they have in the rooms... plus it takes FOREVER to dry my hair with them... so I bring my heavy duty workhorse.

I use to bring my own when my hair was longer, but now its short and the hotel dryers are fine....makes less for me to pack

I bring my own! Im used to my stuff and it works better.

I also bring my own:

soaps (bath and pump hand soap)
shampoos
coffee and cream
pillows
adult beverages

Last year I bought a over the door shoe hanger.
We put all our toiletries and some other things in it.
This kept things off the counters! It was a great tip!

I am with you here. :)
I always bring my own, guess I'm just very picky about hairdryers. ;)

:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

I'm guilty too. :wave2: I have thick hair and I've found that the resort hairdryers don't have enough power for me. It would take hours for me to dry my hair with them.

I bring my own. Those little ones are not powerful enough for me. As a previous post said, I too bring my own soaps and shampoos. Most hotel brands are "yucky" in my opinion!

I pack my hairdryer! Just prefer mine. And my DH wouldn't have a clue what was in the suitcase....he doesn't know HOW to pack! :smooth: Lets just say he forgot some basics the last time he packed...he hasn't packed since! ;)

LOL - I'll be doing all of the packing, at least the toiletries!!! I don't trust DH at all with such important tasks

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who needs her own hairdryer - now I don't feel so bad about taking up the extra space :teeth:

Although I prefer my own, lately I have been using the hotels. It takes up too much space in my suitcase. I have thick long hair so it does take a little longer (but not that much), I deal with it.

Always bring my own. For some reason other hairdryers dry my hair differently and then it's all out of whack! :cool1:

Hotel hair dryers take too long. I can get it done much more quickly by bringing my own.

Glad to see others like me. I don't like most hotel hair dryers. There were a few that I just used theirs.

I definitely bring my own...I'm used to how it works and know just how long it will take to dry my hair with it. I've yet to find a hotel furnished dryer that I like to use.

I bring my own to. I love to have my own "stuff".

My hair is naturally curly so I have to use a diffuser, so I bring my own. Otherwise, I look like a white girl with an afro. :scared1:
