From what I have seen, he refuses to take a lie dectector test.

If someone refuses to take one, how can the police make him?
Do they need a court order?

It's a terrible way to be, but I tell my husband if he wants to get rid of me, please don't kill me!

It just seems like more and more people are killing their spouses.

I am hoing this does NOT become one of these UNSOLVED MYSTERY'S! I am hoping the police already have some evidence against him, and are waiting for the right moment to arrest him.

As for the lie detector, I don't think they can 'make' him, but it sure makes him look bad that he won't. If it was somebody in my family missing I would be the first one in line to take the test so that they could move on.

Actually, Lisa, according to statistics there are now LESS spousal killings, especially wife killing husband crimes, due to shelters and the whole financial issue with women. It used to be the ONLY way out!

As for lie detectors, after watching a couple of years of CSI I doubt that a lie detector will be his undoing. He IS an idiot and there will be some evidence that will be found, I just believe it! I'm sure the inspectors on this case are just building it slowly and surely to make SURE there's no OJ verdict. But I doubt if this guy could afford a dream team!

Have they checked his place of work at all? Has anyone read that? I haven't read that they searched the fertilizer plant and I really think a great place to dispose of someone is a fertilizer processing plant. I think I actually saw that on Law & Order or one of those shows once. I'm sure they have, I hope so.

My first reaction was that a crazy woman took her for the baby. I've read that recently there have been a few cases where pregnant women were stalked by couples desperate for a baby then kidnapped towards the end. I don't really think that anymore though. I think her husband KNOWS she isn't coming home so he sold her SUV and is looking into selling their home. That is just what little ol' me thinks though.

Whatever happened, it is terribly sad. =(

Arrogant people find it hard to not brag about misdeeds. If he's involved and still hasn't been arrested, you'd think he'd have bragged to someone by now. Maybe he will down the road. People like that are in love with themselves and marvel at their own cleverness.
