As is usually the case, I've finished a beautiful vacation to the most magical place in the world and the lingering question is why does Disney torture us with their choice of toilet paper. Most frequent visitors I've mentioned this to have stories on how they combat this headwind. A nominal increase in maintenance fees could more than cover the cost increase and the cost to repair added clogging issues. Which brings me to my question.

I'm not sure if this is gender-related issue or not, but never once in decades at WDW have I thought about the quality of the TP. No way would I pay more for something like that.

Can we ask them to descale the showerheads? How much extra in dues would that cost?

Good idea. Probably also could be a good thing to keep in an owner's locker, if it's important to someone.

It's not super important to me, but some toilet paper is pretty sketchy, lol.

I use Costco's Kirkland brand which I consider a step up from the stuff at Disney. I have friends that only want Charmin. One says it's because the Charmin always tears correctly. Now I notice ads for that. Wavy tears. That's the female friend. The other is obsessive about this and during the Pandemic would call me to ask to get Charmin if I saw it. That's a male friend.

We used Scott's for years due to plumbing but now are fine with anything of reasonable quality.

Now, I can't stand the paper towels. I pack a roll of upgraded ones in my car.

But, I'm okay bringing what I need rather than have Disney supply because there's nothing that will make everybody happy.

I've never thought about the TP...
I think the easiest and least costly fix would be just bring your own.
If you have an owner's locker you could store it there instead of bringing a roll each trip.

The TP is terrible, but I think the dues are high enough to cover decent TP already lol. We don’t buy or bring our own (we’re spending enough money there already) so we just tolerate it.

This is the reason why I voted "no". I think it's terrible that Disney gives us this to pass as toilet paper. Recently, when we stayed at an Airbnb, I said in my review that our hostess could give Disney a lesson on what good toilet paper is. Meanwhile we either bring our own, or have a scratchy butt when we get home. Except at Deidre's!
