Hi,
We are planning a trip for summer 2016. We have only been to UIA for a few hours during our son's wish trip 5 years ago and have never been to US. We are planning 2 days at Universal, probably the Sat/Sun of Labor Day weekend. We are a family of 6 with kids getting older and taller every year, so sharing beds is not an option. We have booked a house close to WDW as we are planning 4 days there.
So, here's my thoughts ... as much as he'd like to do more, my husband can't do many rides as he gets motion sickness from most of them, so he doesn't really need the express pass. I'm thinking if we booked one small room for one night, just to get express passes for 5 of us it would be a win-win. We could take a break in the room/hotel pool in the later afternoon, take advantage of the express passes for 2 days and still sleep at the house where the kids can all have their own beds. This is hugely cheaper then buying one day of express passes in the park, so can someone explain to me what I'm missing here?
How busy are the parks that weekend? Are express passes necessary to accomplish most everything in 2 full days?
Any other thoughts?Opinions?Ideas for our situation?
Thanks
