This will be our third Labor Day week trip, but this time with extended family. I have made all the plans for this trip and the I anticipated that park hours would be extended beyond 9 and 11 pm (as they have the past two years) to give us some extra time in the parks. Most days I don't even have us in a park with hours beyond 9. Now that the trip is upon us I see that park hours are still only 9 and 11 pm. I'm at the point of switching everything around just to get us in a park past 9 ( we have water parks and fun with NO hoppers). I really don't want to give up fast passes and ADRs at this point and I think it will be extremely cost prohibitive to add hoppers the way the tickets are structured since our old WPF option.

Any idea if hours will change for next week? Seems so late in the game to do so at this point.

I would not change your FP. I would just keep what you have. I too am going next week and was surprised at the hours my self, but anything can happen at Disney so maybe they will add hours

I think it'll be unlikely for park hours to change, but they could potentially change them up to the day before if they wanted. I heard summer hours were pretty early too so it seems like Disney doesn't want to stay open late. I've also heard that the week after the holiday weekend is pretty light in terms of crowds so that would factor into them closing early too.

I have been in the MK when it was closing at 9 pm and right before the fire works they had an anwsment that the MK was going to be opened latter that night. If I remember right it was 11 pm. Now this dose not happen often but the park could add hours up until the park closes. So I would stay and ride and do things until you see thing closing then you know the park is closed

We just got back on Saturday and most of the time the parks were only open until 9 or 10. I kept waiting for it to change and it never did. MK only had one night open to midnight, in our 9 nights there, and it was packed! I didn't think the parks were too crowded otherwise and we were able to see most everything we wanted by closing time (we had tickets for 8 days). I just think everyone wanted to enjoy those EMH.

Have a great time.
