Labor Day Week-End @ SSR

Is anyone going home Labor Day Weekend at SSR. Will all four buildings (Phase 1) be open then?

How are the crowds during Labor Day and the week right after it?

This will be our first DVC stay (9-4 thru 9-10). Our the parks really empty after Labor Day?

All four buildings in the first phase are scheduled to be open in August.

Early September has usually been a slack time in the parks- even Labor Day weekend is not usually too busy.

Except at MK, which is a zoo.

We arrive on Tuesady 7 September and stay through Sunday in a 1 bedroom at SSR. The last time we were down over labor day, that weekend was really crowded but then it slacked off and was quite nice.

We've been there twice over Labor Day (2000, and 2003). The weekend before Labor Day is actually very busy, but Labor Day istelf is DEAD! It's awesome!!!! No lines whatsoever. It was almost like you had the parks to yourself We loved it. The days after labor day were very light as well. If this means anything the wait for Dumbo in the afternoon was only 15 minutes!
