Hi Diane! Good luck on the LA program...it really is working for me. I follow the plan just about to the letter...I do sneak in the occasional french fry from my boys' Happy Meals, but for the most part, I'm doing really well. For the amount of $$ we've invested, I've got to prove that this can work to DH (and myself! LOL).
I do the LA Lite bars religiously....in the beginning, I REALLY looked forward to them at snack time. I also take the TriMax and fb500....they are for curbing your cravings for carbs and sweets.
I weighed in this morning, and lost another .6, so I'm down 22.2 overall, and I started the plan the week before Thanksgiving. I was nervous about today, because we had a family birthday party, and I had a 2x2 piece of cake (counts as one fat, btw) along with more pasta then I should have.

But, the counselors stress that you don't want to totally deprive yourself, because that's when binging and overeating can start.
So, I'm almost 1/3 of the way to my goal. I'm really heavy...I started at 272lbs (yikes!) and my goal with LA is to get to 200lbs. I was 250.4 today....I'm really excited to get under 250 for the first time since before my kids were born!
