La Quinta Inn Lakeside

Was just wondering if anyone has stayed in this hotel (now Best Western).

Only 5 weeks to go and cant wait

Its a budget hotel which gets mixed reviews. The change of name seems to have improved the reviews.
If you are not happy with anything complain and get it sorted.

It seems nice enough. I can't comment on the rooms as we only went in because we met for our hot air balloon ride there.

Public areas are nice, as is the buffet breakfast. Staff are extremely friendly.

I'm sure you'll have a nice time.

We have stayed there 3 times with no problems and are staying again in November, you may want to try emailing them and asking for say a ground floor room near to the pool! and if you have any problems when you are there complain as some one else said.

i am staying there next june.Had a look at the website and it looks really nice.Have a look at the orlando hotel forum,there are a few comments on there.

We stayed there shortly after it was taken over by La Quinta (Jan 2003) & it was equivalent at the end of the day to a value resort. Good sized rooms, fridge at no cost. It was clean & tidy & suited our needs, i.e somewhere to sleep (yes, we're easily pleased!). At the time they were starting to renovate. Walgreens next door was so convenient for downloading the digital camera to CD, food etc. TGIs on the opposite side of !(" altho' you need to be Linford CHristie to cross! Good location to access Disney via Sherberth road, so AK was only 5-10 mins away.
