La Nouba discount?

Can anyone help me out here? The member website says to call member services to find out about discounts on tickets for La Nouba. I have called twice and have gotten two different answers

First CM told me that she didn't see any discounts for La Nouba anywhere,ever(her words). I called again the next day and was told that I couldn't find out what the discount was until I reserved the tickets, which I cannot do until April26th. (we're going Oct.23rd) Also, there might not be any discount at all????

I usually get all my info on these boards anyway, so I apologize for not coming here first and asking the people who really know the details. Thanks in advance for your help.

DVC does have sporadic discounts for La Nouba, but none would be available now for October. The current discount is 35% off cat 3 and 4 tickets, but is only available for shows thru June, I think. You would need to check back closer to your October trip dates to see if there is a DVC discount.

FYI - right now the same discount is available for AP holders, DVC members, Disney Visa holders, Tables in Wonderland members, and Florida residents. The discounts for the past 2 years were better - I got Cat 2 tickets for the same price as I am paying for Cat 3 tickets this year.

If you sign up for the "Cirque Club" on the Cirque Du Soleil website, you can get 35% off Category 3&4 seats and 25% off Category 2 seats. No need to be a DVC member, Passholder, Florida Resident, AAA, etc.

Signing up for the cirque club is free. You'll get a very occasional e-mail from them (less than once a month) with info about shows, special offers, etc.

The special offer is good for shows until 6/21/2013. I know this expires before your trip. But I have NEVER seen a discount to Cirque Du Soleil be offered more than a month or two out. Since your trip isn't until October, I would start looking for tickets and discounts around Aug/Sept. Don't worry about the show selling out... it won't.

Between DVC, Passholder, and Cirque Club discounts, I would feel pretty confident about your ability to find a 25% discount on Category 2 or 35% discount on Category 3 or 4. I've gone to see La Nouba on each of my semi-annual trips (May/June and Sept/Oct) and have NEVER paid for a full price ticket between the various discount avenues available to me as a DVC, Passholder, and Cirque Club member. But you do have to wait until you are at least within 60 days of your trip, and you might have to wait until 30 days within your trip to buy tickets to find the discounts.

I would definitely recommend the Cat 2 seats over the 3&4 seats...they are worth the extra expense IMO. Cat 2 seats are actually better seats than Cat 1 and the "Front row center" seats.
