For those who have done this:

Do you eat before or after?

Where do you eat?

We will most likely be staying at YC so have all the BW area rest. to choose from. Just wasn't sure about timing and not very familar with any DTD rest. except RFC and Ghiradellis.

Thanks for any input.

For us, it depends on if we go to the early or the late show. With the early show, we do dinner afterward at a DTD restaurant. Otherwise, we have dinner prior to the show.

We've had good luck at Rainforest Cafe if you want a sit down dinner. Earl of Sandwich is also good. Ghiradelli's is really nice for an ice cream dessert, but isn't for dinner. All these places are a bit of a walk to Cirque. DTD is bigger than you think. There are also places to eat at Pleasure Island and on the Westside (where the Cirque theatre is located).

When you call for your tickets, ask when the show ends. They'll be able to tell you. Make sure that you get to the show early, there is a pre-show program that is fun. Also, you can buy popcorn, snacks and drinks to eat during the show.

We really liked the House of Blues when we ate there. It is right next door to Cirque de Solelil at Downtown Disney West Side.

WE went to the 9 oclock show, ate at BD, after dinner went back to get our car at BWI, drove to DTD and had plenty of time to pick up the tickets. You are going to really enjoy the show, it was worth every penny, have a nice time

Have fun at La Nouba. Its a wonderful show. We attended the early showing of La Nouba. Soooo, we did drinks and appetizers before the show at Bongos. After the show, we ate at Wolfgang Pucks. We had a wonderful Disney evening. :earsboy:

Saw the early show with dinner at Fulton's afterward. It was a Friday night and DD was busy. If you go to dinner after the show be sure to allow an extra 15 to 20 minutes to get out of the theatre and manuevered through DD.

We've done this once and would do it the same way again next time. We had dinner first at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe and then saw the later show of Cirque. The two buildings are very close in proximity.

When I went with the sweetpea we went to the early show. We had a quick snack at the hotel before we went, then the sweetpea convinced me to eat at MickyD's after the show. With another stop for ice cream after. I would only do it that way again with the sweetpea. But if its an adult evening, I would go to Wolfgang Puck's. Yum!

Thank you for all the info so far, first I didn't realize there were two shows each night. I think since we would be taking our kids the early show with dinner after would be best. I just looked at the Wolfgang puck menu and think it would work. jI haven't looked at a map, is Wolfgangs close to La Nouba? Also, does Wolfgangs take PS???

Thanks again! :sunny:

There are two locations for Wolfgang Puck's:
Wolfgang Puck's Express is in the Marketplace (opposite end of Cirque).
Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (the location we prefer) or Upstairs Dining (a bit fancier and more expensive) are a couple buildings away from the Cirque tent in the West End DTD. Both of these locations take PSs.
