Southern California La Jolla Hotel

I feel strange posting this since I'm a so cal native. However, I'm not well versed in San Diego. I have a wedding in October at Torrey Pines. Anyone know of a decent hotel, reasonably priced near that area? Preferably close enough for a cheap Uber ride back from the wedding venue?

I don't know what your budget is, but we like the Grand Colonial hotel, especially because of its restaurant Nine-Ten. We can usually find good rates on Expedia, Travelocity, etc. For one night only if you want to treat yourself, La Valencia, while not cheap, is fun. Since you've said that you aren't familiar with that area, staying at a historic hotel for a night might be a nice adventure. Otherwise, does Tripadvisor have anything that will suit your needs?
