when la hacienda opened and several years afterwards they offered a vegetarian menu. is it still available?? my son is vegetarian and this is a place i would like for him to try. thanks for the help

I am looking for the same thing. I've found some references online to cheese empanadas and vegetarian tacos and enchiladas, but I haven't been able to find current information about this.

If they have things on the menu that can be altered to fit his dietary needs by excluding items, I have found that the chefs and wait staff do a great job of taking care of that for you. The only exception is when things that you want are not listed somewhere else on the menu (say you want chorizo on your enchilada, but chorizo is nowhere else on the menu). Vegetarian choices should be very easy to accommodate at a Mexican restaurant.

I had the Cheese Empanadas at the outside Cantina last week- they were amazing!!!
