What time would be a good time to eat during illuminations at La Hacienda? We probly wouldnt get dessert just entrees so I was thinking 8:00 or 8:15? how long is a wait during this time even if we have ADRs?
There is no guarantee that you will be seated at a table with a good view of IllumiNations. When you check in you can make a request, but posters have said La Hacienda frequently does not take requests and you will be seated at the first available table.
If seeing IllumiNations is the main reason you are making a reservation at La Hacienda it would be better to dine earlier and find a place around the lagoon. One course would probably take about 45 minutes, but I would allow additional time for waiting at the restaurant and to find a viewing spot afterwards.
If you are dining at La Hacienda because of the food an 8:00 res will probably be too late for a window table because most people at those tables will remain through IllumiNations. You'll either have to choose an earlier time and eat really slow or order more than just one course.
At Rose & Crown there are tables on the patio with a good view of IllumiNations. However, if you are seated inside there is a viewing area adjacent to the patio that is exclusive to those dining at the restaurant. Let your server know and they will pace your meal so that you can go outside for the show.
Spice Table has started taking reservations and it too has tables facing the lagoon.
