LA COUNTY Vaccine Passport

That’s what I did.

You mean they want us to carry both pieces of paper? Not just the second, which says it’s the second dose (implying there was a first dose)?

And do you just download the PDF or take a photo or is there an app you’re supposed to use, if you don’t want to carry paper?
Nope, you just need to carry the second.

*********************Edited to clear up confusion**********************
Because this isn't even possible, there are 2 different scenarios we as residents of Ontario need to provide documentation for and I stand corrected for the LOCAL requirements.

For Local/provincial and who knows where else, it appears that using your 2nd receipt that shows you are fully jabbed is enough.

For re-entering Canada and using that App you need to use BOTH receipts.

I think that because this is a thread for LA County vaccine passports there might be some confusion with us discussing what is required for provincial vaccination passports .
I know I’m confused but that’s really nothing new

This is from the Ontario.ca website:

Do I need to bring both receipts or just my second dose receipt to show proof of vaccination?

A patron seeking access to a business or organization specified in the regulation must provide the receipt that shows that they are fully vaccinated.

and from https://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro...cination_for_businesses_and_organizations.pdf

All versions of the receipt are acceptable as proof of vaccination. However, a patron seeking access to a business or organization specified in the regulation must provide the receipt that shows that they are fully vaccinated.

If you go to page 8 in the above document, it actually shows a picture of the second receipt and what business owners need to look for in that receipt.

If you download from the government website, your second receipt says it is your second shot and provides proof that you have received both shots.

This is just another example of how messed up this information is proving to be, even for us as business owners. I need to state that we don't have direct contact with customers so I've not followed the latest updates that were provided on Friday, sorry.

I've updated my post to remove *some* of the confusion so perhaps you should remove the quote from your post as well?
