La Cava del Tequila to Open August 28

Thanks for all the great pictures and information ... cannot wait to try this place in October! :cool1:

Hmm with 70 tequilas I think they need a tequila club. Each time you drink one you get it marked off and when you do all 70 you get a prize.

Thanks for the great pics!! Can't wait to try it out in October.

Oh, it looks gorgous there! I dearly love a good margarita and some guacamole to eat along side it!

Of course, I'm going to have to settle for just the guacamole this trip :goodvibes

wow!!! Cant wait until December now.. I was wondering how to give my dd her Christmas present and what a better way (giving her a trip to Mexico) than here!

BTW - I've been researching Tequilla :rolleyes1 (its kinda for a good reason - my brother and I are mending fences, and I know he likes Tequilla - so I needed to buy a bottle of Tequilla)

I went to tequilla.net - boy is there a lot of information about Tequilla - I do prefer a repesado over the blanco - unless doing a shot - then its the quicker the liquor kinda deal!! :rotfl:

I know that alcoholic beverages are not typically a part of the regular dining plan (so i fully intend on paying for one of those yummy looking drinks) but are any of the tappas on the dining plan, as a snack or perhaps a counter service? Just wondering... :confused3

I would imagine they will be doing the DDP for the food but I haven't heard yet.

Thanks all for the reviews, pics and links.

I wonder if they have the Tanteo Tequila Chocolate Infusion. I have wanted to try that one....but haven't found it anywhere. supposed to have a chocolate taste with jalapeno peppers :thumbsup2

OMG, can see mom & I here every day! I think for upcoming trip this November will tell kids (teens) they can find us in Mexico...

They actually have 83 different types of tequila. I talked to the "tequilia ambassador" Hilda and she was explaining all the different type and tastes they have. She is very nice. She use to work as a guide at Jose Cuervo in Mexico and has only been a Disney Cast Member for a week! So if you stop by make sure to talk to her and have a drink...or two.

Going in November with family....Mommy needs a margarita - badly (not sure about the shots of tequilla)! To go would be a nice ....then I could sway throughout the park.

I thought I read somewhere that there was a special pass for the Tequila Tasting in Mexico, however, I also read that the different tequilas would run from $3-$8 each. Anybody had info on this?

Good tequlia is like a good scotch and can be enjoyed sipped straight. Tequlia does not have worms in the bottle thats Mezcal which while made from Agave it is not blue agave which only tequlia is made from.
