L&M & Dollar?

Should I stick to the well known rental companies like Avis or National? Has anyone had bad experiences with L&M or Dollar?

I used L&M for one trip to WDW. I did not have any of the problems I've read about here. I've also used Dollar quite a bit too without any problems.

I used Dollar two weeks ago. Little line, no waits and low prices. That describes my experience. Plus, by using codes I found on www.mousesavers.com I was able to get a min-van for a $199 base rate! When we got there they had misplaced one set of keys, so instead of the Caravan I had reserved, we got a Grand Caravan upgrade for no additional charge. It was a 2005 with only 248 miles when we picked it up! Drop off was fast and easy too.

Dollar is a national company so I would consider them "well known"

L&M is local. Most people report good experieces. I tried renting from them years ago and just walked away over the insurance mess!
