L&M and NOT honoring..

an Internet reservation. How can they not honor it? I have used them several times in the past and have NEVER had a problem.

Can someone please share their experience with this problem to me. I am using them twice in the next month and want to avoid any possible confusion.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I noticed that you are from Crestwood and just had to comment, since we're practically neighbors (we live near the Tweeter Center).

Reservations are automatically cancelled after 1-hour of expected arrival time. If Renter is in route and notifies us of their delay, a reinstatement fee may apply to all late arrivals to guarantee rate category on reserve

That policy alone concerns me. An hour delay is not unheard of and you can't really call from the air. Not sure what other agency will charge a fee if your flight is delayed.

National holds your reservation until midnight.

To answer your question, I suspect most reservations have enough "loopholes" they can use. I recall reading that LM will change the car size definition so they can stick you with whatever car they have available without having to upgrade you for free or having to give you a discount.

The search function is disabled most of the time but I recall more than enough complaints. National and Dollar seem to be about the best (price, service and location).

UGH! L&M does anything it wants.... don't get me started on the MAJOR DISASTER with our rental 2 years ago.

Do youself a favor... rent from another company.
