I had a ginormous incisional hernia which went from my navel all the way down to my bikini line. It resulted from 3 previous abdominal surgeries, and made my waist measurement four inches larger than it would have been without the hernia.
Of course, with something that big, it made clothes fit funny, so I was always looking for some sort of pantie girdle which would hold it in some. The best ever was the Kymaro top. I didn't like the bottoms at all, but I wore one of the tops every single day. Well, every day until December 7th*! The hernia was still there, of course, but the Kymaro top was enough that it held it in and made my waist only a bit bigger than it would have been w/o the hernia. If I were jiggly and wanted some sort of compression, I'd go with the Kymaro. I've got several in size medium, beige in color, if anyone wants to pay postage to get them.
*Because the hernia was so big, there was no way it would become strangulated, so I waited until I lost a lot of weight before I had it fixed. On December 7th, they went in and did an abdominal wall reconstruction and rebuilt my tummy. The hernia is gone!!! As soon as my brand-new belly button (the hernia destroyed the old one) heals, I've told them I'm wearing a bikini to work!
