Thank you from the both of us for all the kind words you all have left for us!
But lets get this back on track and on with the FOOD!!!!
Day 1:
- Wolf Gang Puck Express
- Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review
After my slight Heart Attack at check in we made our way to our room briefly before heading to Downtown Disney. We had been to Wolf Gang Puck Express last trip and loved it. For those of you who havent been or read about WGPx, it without question is in the top 5 for counter services on property. This is terms of both Quality and Quantity. We had the BBQ Chicken pizza before and were craving it again so we decided to split a pizza and a salad. Both were excellent and we couldnt have been happier with WGPx on both occasions.

BBQ Chicken Salad
Instead of desert we went with a Fruit Salad, also pictured are our drinks.
So as I touch upon in our proposal report we did eventually get to the Magic Kingdom after making a few phone calls and walking the grounds of WL. Once we got there we stopped into town hall to grab our Just Engaged pins. From here we walked around a bit and got some pictures taken as we were on a photo pass share.
We were feeling kind of thirsty so we opted to grab a couple bottles of water. We noticed that they had two different types of water throughout the park and at most food carts. We opted to go with the smart water instead of the regular bottled spring water. The smart water was around a dollar more and I believe both were the same size. We used two Snack Credits.

From here we went back to the hotel room to take a shower and relax before making the journey to Fort Wilderness for Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review!
We went to Hoop before and loved it. We are both BBQ lovers and although Hoop isnt the best BBQ it still is better than most options we have living in the North East. This was no question a 100% yes restaurant when it came down to making our ADRs.
In traditional style we got there a little early and stopped in Trails End for a beer at the bar. The bar is very small and quiet. Its a perfect place to watch a game or have a chat with the Bartender and other guests. While here we met a female guest at the bar who was a Cast Member at Disney Land in California.
Yuengling Lager on the left; Sam Adams Oktoberfest on the right.
After the quick beer we went over to check in and wait to head in for the 9:30pm show. For those who havent been or dont know how the seating works its not first come first serve. The seating arrangement is set at the time of booking. So the earlier you book the better seat you will get; there is no reason to get there super early thinking you will get a better seat.
We went with beer for our drink! Only bad thing is its bud light
oh well free refills!
Heres the Salad and corn bread.
Here is my plate with a little of everything: Ribs, Chicken, Mash Potatoes, and Beans.
I realized I dont have a picture of the strawberry shortcake, Ill try and track it down and post it here but trust me its delicious.
The service was very good and much better than last time. Our waitress came around at least two or three times to ask if we wanted more of anything. I opted for another pitcher of beer but besides that there was plenty of food on the table all served family style.
That completes day one! Feel free to ask any questions regarding the food, proposal, and any other questions regarding our trip!
Check back soon as we visit Peco Bills to see if it lived up to the hype...Then we are off to in our opinions one of the most underrated restaurants on property: Raglan Road!
