Kungaloosh!

I'm in the minority, the Adverturer's Club does nothing for me. Have been there several times, its just not my thing. I do like the drinks though! :)

This is one of the things we have always wanted to do when we got to WDW but haven't yet! We will definitely have to check it out the next time we make it down there!

When I was there in Feb, they had various shows in the main room, the theater and the mask room and the room with the genie head. :)

You know the room with the stage though? Were there different shows in that room? There used to be but I don't know that there are anymore.
There are still the different shows though in the smaller rooms...the mask room has one and so does the trophy room (I think it's called the trophy room :p )

And snoopy, I'm surprised that you don't get into the Adventurer's Club. I've HEARD stories about you and from what I'm hearing, that place would be right up your alley. *very sassy snerk* :p

I'd say for the most part it's PG-13 but occasionally, it gets a little risque (you can't really control what someone in the audience says). It really depends on the kid. :)

Oh, I think she'd be fine then. Maybe if we go a little earlier in the evening, it should be ok. Hooray! I just wasn't even certain if she could get in. I know dh and I would love it and I bet she'd get a kick out of it, too.

Thanks so much!

Kungaloosh Esmeralda!

I also have to say that is a beautiful tribute to Allie in your signature.

Maybe I've just been there with the wrong people. :p

Hey, E--thanks for posting this. I've always wanted to go to the Adventurers Club but I was uncertain about taking dd there. Do you think it would be weird to take a 14 yo? Can she even get in?

If not, <sigh>, I'll have to wait till she's old enough to come along! I can't leave her sitting alone in the hotel room till we come back.

I finally made it to AC this past Aug. We had a blast! I took DD-13 1/2 and she loved it. It got a bit racier as the night wore on but we left about 10:30.

And I didn't get my kungaloosh in the monkey head :(

There are several shows in the stage room. :) There's the Bolderdash Cup competition, and I know I saw at least 2 others. :)

Thank you. I wish I could take credit for designing it, but I can't. Mosmom, a fellow DISer designed it for people to use who wanted to put a tribute to precious angel Allie in their sig. :(

Everyone else - I'm glad to hear so many others love the AC as much as we do. :)

Sherri, I know you know this- What is the answer? 12? You know the Earth ended at the same time that little girl figured out the question involving the meaning of life? I really cannot remember the answer that the book furnished.

Isn't the answer 42?

I can't wait! We've been hearing so many great stories about AC that we're finally going to get a chance to see for ourselves on our honeymoon!

Make sure you try a Kungaloosh! in a monkey head. :)

I love the AC. I actually had to stick my finger in someones right ear one night, I hesitated, and got yelled at by the guy on the wall. For the record, one of the nights I was there, there was a small child of maybe 4 or 5 sleeping in one of the chairs and the characters made him a continuing part of the show-although he had no clue. He was a part of a lot of jokes.

KUNGALOOSH!!!

Chris and I kept sitting in the same two chairs. They remembered us from night to night and were teasing us for sitting in the same place every night! :)

We loved the AC! The first time we visited was last year and we are planning to go to PI again verrrry shortly!::yes:: ::MickeyMo

Hello.
Goodbye.
Don't touch that, it's dead.

I wonder if anyone remembers when they did different shows in the main theater through the evening? Now I believe they ONLY hold the telethon in the main theater there....but the other shows were every bit as funny if not more so. I miss that.

There are 6-7 different library shows nightly (6 on weekdays, 7 on Fri/Sat). They are 20 minutes to a half hour long.

There are plaques on the wall beside each room that give the show times.

And the coconut monkey head costs extra. Six bucks, I think.
