I think one of the best experiences (for adults) in WDW is the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island. Does any body have any funny stories about their interaction with the CMs?
Additionally...Does anybody know if they still sell T-shirts or other items? When we were there in Dec. 2003, I did not see any.

They quit selling merchandise sometime last millennium. Try asking at the bar if they have anything available other than the ubiquitous monkey nut.

funny story: last summer hathaway was trying to hit on a girl and all were underage. he would get close and notice no PI bracelet and would say "daddy like but daddy like freedom more". this happened bout 4 times. so i finally stuck my wrist up and he was like "God bless america" and sat on my lap for a good 5-10mins. the place was laughing so hard

I love the Adventure Club!!! It soooo much fun....my DH and i can spend all night there if possible. We went in May, and everyone was just rolling laughing!!

I LOVE the Adventurers Club, but unfortunately, we didn't make it during our last trip this month.

A couple fun memories...

My wife and I were married at the Wedding Pavilion back in November 2000. While at the Adventurers Club, another fella and I were called up to talk to Babylonia. When asked how long I'd been married, I was able to answer "Three days". Everyone stared right at Jen, whose face turned bright red. The whole room applauded. I don't see why Jen was so embarassed, I'm the one who had to grovel to the giant stone face on the wall!

A few years later, Jen and I were at the Club with my sister and her boyfriend. They had been dating for almost 4 years at this point, and Neil had been getting the proposal pressure for a long time from his family. We were watching Samantha Sterling's show in the Library, when she started wandering the room, pestering all the guys as to why they hadn't proposed to their girlfriends yet. You could actually see my sister's boyfriend shrink in his seat! Unfortunately for the story (and fortunately for him), Samantha didn't quite make it over to our table... then I'm sure I would have had a really funny story.

I check Ebay now and then hoping to find some AC merchandise, but I haven't had any luck yet. The guy who works at the snack shop (I don't remember the name of the place, but they have ice cream and baked goods and stuff, down at the end of PI) used to run the old AC gift shop. He says he has quite a bit of stuff at home with the tags still on it. He loaded up on the stuff when he found out they were closing, but hasn't decided to part with any of it yet.
