I have a linen closet at home full of napkins I took from the snack bar
You only get one chance to make a first impression

my compliments to the chef

This looks so good...almost makes me want to forgive rum for that bad experience in college. :rolleyes1

Stacktester's Version...

Kungaloosh:

Wash blender with Disney Hose and then add:

5 cups Capt Morgan's Spiced Rum
1 cup orange juice
3 cup Raspberry Brandy or Liquer
1 cup Strawberry Daiquiri mix
1 straw
put in blender with enough ice to make slushy and then spill blender when done. Suck spillage up with straw.

Back to step #1 and try again.

:thumbsup2

Recipe I got from another well known website for Kungaloosh:

New Kungaloosh Recipe -- since 2000 or so
1 cup Daily's Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
1/4 cup blackberry brandy

Toss it in a blender with enough ice to make it slushy.

If you want to go back and have a blast from the past, the old recipe:

Old Kungaloosh Recipe -- Circa 1997
1 1/4 ounce vodka
1 1/4 ounce Malibu Rum
3/4 ounce Midori (melon liqueur)
2 tablespoons pineapple juice
1 splash cranberry juice

Mix well.
(this original version was not slushy, just a mixed drink which I think is really good).

May I say I  Kungaloosh. Only tried ftwildernessguys version. May have to try some others. Research ya know. :rolleyes1

There's a reason why I have my own variation. First of all, Disney's was just too sweet for me. Second, It is much easier to remember the right amounts if they are all the same, which becomes critical as the evening wears on.

You left out the step where you start the blender without putting the lid on first! :confused3

Yep, your's is much easier!:thumbsup2

The 'old' version is good but very much like a science project to assemble, also a lot of ingredients to lug around.

I bought a 12v blender to specifically be able to make Kungaloosh whether I had power or not at the campsite.
