KUDOS to JetBlue

So, today was the day I could try to book our return flight home from Florida in February. DS had requested JetBlue for the flight home, and I told him if the flights were within our price range, then I'd do it.

Well, in my excitement, I was a DOOFUS, and booked the flight from BOS to Ft Myers, instead of Ft Myers to BOS. I don't know what made it dawn on me, but about 2 hours after I booked, I double checked, and lo and behold I had booked it incorrectly.

I called JetBlue, spoke to a delightful CSR, and she was able to waive the change fee, and switch our flights so we were flying in the right direction.

She did not have to do it, and I could have been well and truly hosed, but she was willing (and able) to waive the fee, and I only had to pay an additional $25 or so for my desired flight.

I've already emailed JetBlue praising her.

I'm happy for you but I still think they are dogs for sending people a specific email stating that the February flights would be available on Monday at 10:00am and then putting them out there on Sunday.

Actually within 24 hours of you placing the flight she did have to waive the change fee. It's there in fine print.
