The "big kids" in our group will be doing the ATV raptor tour, but we have two kids under the age limit so we'll be splitting up and half of the party will be doing something different. Out of the farm trolley tour, the ocean catamaran tour, and the secret beach, what does everyone recommend?

Mine personal favorite is the farm trolley tour, but most people find it "boring"... With kids, they will will probably like Secret Island beach best of what you listed. The most popular Kualoa Ranch tour is actually the Movie Sites Tour follow by Jungle Tour, but those two tours aren't on your list for some reason.

Movie Sites doesn't appeal to my mom, and jungle tour still has an age limit. It's lower than ATVs, but still not low enough for my youngest.

Gotcha... I think the kids will like the activities for Secret Island best. They provide all the equipment and life jackets. I done it all, at least 2-3x each... maybe more.... Ocean Voyage is my least favorite of the list, but still fun (hey you are in Hawaii), beats being here in the mainland.

curious - how far from Aulani drive in the morning? Also anything like this on the west side of the island?

It's about 50 minutes without traffic, but if you do one of the early morning tools... traffic gets really bad... Plan on at least 1.5 hours to get there, even 1 hour 45 minutes isn't unusual. Later afternoon, 1 hour planning time is doable.

I have missed my tour twice over the last 5-6 years, but back than they weren't as strict and let me reschedule to one later in the day, since I was already there. But they tighten up lately, so better be there early rather than risk your payment going down the drain.

As for anything on the west side, not that I know of, maybe others will chime in with their knowledge.

Kualoa is pretty unique. You won't find anything really like it elsewhere on Oahu.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The features of that land probably won't be found anywhere else, even if you can find similar activities in different parts of Oahu.
