kttw question on charging

My husband, myself and our two children will be sharing a cabin with my father-in-law for our September cruise. I was just wondering if we can keep our charges on our kttw seperate from my father-in-laws.

We have traveled with in-law several times and even tho we gave separate credit cards at check-in all charges ended up on my card. I was the lead name on the reservation and in-law with same last name. Disney always says "no problem" at check-in but... However, on the up side, the statement itemizes charges for each kttw card so easy to settle up after the cruise. Of interest is that one time I traveled with a friend (different last name) and the charges went to our separate credit cards without a problem. Good luck.

when you get your booklets from DCL..... doesn't each booklet ask for a credit card number or give you the option if they are all the same? I never paid attention because we all stayed in 1 room but this time we have 2 and a friend staying in each of our rooms........

yes - each booklet has a credit card form. even tho we completed a separate form with a separate credit card, in-law's charges ended up going on my card. My advice is to check mid-cruise while guest services is not crowded to make sure the charges are being split correctly between the 2 credit cards.

We've never had a problem. Each KTTW generates it's own statement, and each can be tied to a separate credit card.

Even when you want it all to one credit card, each KTTW still generates it's own statement. This is a small point, but with a teen on a budget, it mattered that her excursions (which I was paying for) showed up on her account. Granted, I just had to show her how to subtract the excursion amount. It just freaked her out when she checked her account and found $70 more than she had spent.
