What sort of ticket do i need? . We only have one day free to visit. just want to go there dont want anything fancy. Havent been there since 2001.

2Adults and 2 children.

I'm not sure if this helps but attraction tickets direct are doing buy 1 adult ticket get a child ticket free at the moment.

I think this is the basic ticket that allows you 2 visits within 7 days.

We just bought ours on the gate, got the NASA up close add-on aswell which we thought was great but according to the website it is $38 for normal adult admission and $28 for kids:

Not sure if other places might have it cheaper though...
