KSC without the bus tour?

Is there plenty to see at KSC without the bus tour and IMAX movie? We have 2 younger children that won't have a lot of interest in the bus tour (our children are 12, 7, and 11 months). As much as I want to see KSC, I dont want to make the one hour drive only to find that there isn't anything to do once we get there.

I'm not sure but I think that you have to pay for the bus tour and the IMAX movie. At the gate you pay one price and that includes everything. It used to be that you paid for things seperately but that has changed to an all-inclusive price. You could call KSC and see but I am sure that is how it works now. I think that your 12 and 7 year old would like things esp. the IMAX movie. It is not a cheap day though, we spent around $200 just to get in, but we really enjoyed it.
