Everything is going OK, especially since aldisneygrl gave her recent update.

We still have some gaps that can be filled, but nothing over 14 days in the next few months, so we should be OK (until June). Hopefully some of the gaps will get filled soon.

You have to have 10 posts (I think) before you can send a pm. Go post some of your questions on other threads, or go to the Community Boards, and post on some of the Game threads to get your post count up. Then you will be able to send a PM.

Or just post here what dates you are looking for and dkferret will see it.

The fridge has been passed off now. It was a wonderful addition and so helpful!! I also passed to Lindsay a Collapesable (its too early to think about correct spelling ) hamper and two over the door organizers. If you want to keep passing them on, that is fine, if not that is fine as well. They came in handy, i bought them for the trip. However, they don't fit over the door. One goes over the shower rod in the bathroom for stuff and the other i put in the closet sideways over the wire shelf. They really helped to contain all the "clutter" that seems to accumulate!

Bora 63, we are flying on on the 3rd early morning. I will drop off the fridge at the main desk area with all your information on it, and you can pick it up at your convinience. From what I understand of the trade, we do't have to physically pass it on. Please someone tell me if this is incorrect. Thanks.

Hi, this fridge is only for use at POP Century. You need to find an All Stars fridge swap.

This may be a crazy question but how do you participate in the swap? I know your name is put on the fridge, but does someone there bring it to your room and set it up for you? Do you just box it up and return it to the desk when you check-out? Is there any cost to participate?

The first several people who started the swap last year split the cost, and after them, it became free. No cost to participate anymore. If you want it and you are staying at POP Century and your dates are open, you can use the fridge. If the fridge ever gets lost or disappears, the rest of the people in the swap are screwed and the swap is ended. But so far, everyone has been great about keeping the fridge swap going smoothly.

There are swaps going on only for the value resorts (POP Century and All-Stars). Ours is for POP Century. If you aren't in a fridge swap, you can pay to use a Disney fridge, but it costs $10 or more per day. Most other resorts other than POP and All-Stars have a fridge included in the room, so no swap necessary there. There are also a few other types of swap you can look for, like for a coffee pot or microwave. (We only have a fridge and whatever other goodies other swappers left in the box.)

You don't get the fridge from the check-in desk, they likely know nothing about it. You go to luggage services at the front of the main building and get it from them. They will loan you a cart to take it to your room if needed. When done, you just return it to luggage services with the next person's information on the box. You may be able to get luggage services to bring it to you or take it from you, I didn't do that.

You set up the fridge yourself. It's just a small lightweight fridge, just take it out of the box and it's ready to go. Please be sure to keep the box intact as best you can.

That's it. Easy.
