Hi all,
I am not back home from Disney yet (see below), so I'll get the information to you January people soon.
Regarding the fridge, it could not have gone smoother. I just went to luggage services at the front of the resort and they got it very quickly and gave me a cart to wheel it to the room. The box was very nicely decorated and I took a picture of it and will send the picture to swappers so they know what it looks like in case of a problem. Someone even put Christmas lights in the box! Krystal did a great job labeling the box. I hope future swappers have an equally easy time with the fridge.
The parks were very light for my first two days, and got a bit heavier as the week went on. The Pop Warner crowds weren't an issue until later at night or later in the week, but were hardly noticeable. The longest I waited in a standby line was 20 minutes. The Osborne lights were GREAT and I had a great time all together.
My only problem with the whole trip was that I fell down on the first day (a person in front of me tripped causing me to trip) and I landed on my knee, causing a TON of swelling. I am on blood thinners, so after two days my entire leg was black and blue (literally). People were staring. I should have actually gone to a hospital, but I didn't want to miss my trip. No lectures, please. I still can't bend my knee fully yet, but it is getting a bit better.
Then on the way home, my car broke down at night, so we were forced to stay at a hotel until morning. My car was fixed by 2pm, so we were on our way home again. However, after another 100 miles, the same problem happened and I was stuck finding another service station. So here I am at another hotel waiting for morning so I can bring my car in to be fixed again at a new service station. What a pain. I have another 330 miles to go, so at this rate, I may be home by Thursday . . . I was hoping to get in to see my doctor on Monday.
Anyhow, let me know if you have any questions. I'm bored here in another strange town with free internet access . . .
