kroger has 4 times fuel points through April 7th

Need some help wit this Kroger gas deal. So, we went to the pump, I scanned my card and all it showed was I would get a .03 cent discount. I know on our recent Kroger receipt it showed more than that. In fact, after the gas pumped it listed some expiring march points as well as some april points.

We have only spent ~$350 or so total but that should be more than .03 cents, right?

Also, when I do figure this out can you only redeem it once or more than once before they expire? IOW, say we have .20 cent off per gallon, can my wife wife fill up and then I fill up the next day and both save the same amount?

Just checked and our Fry's (Kroger) is offering the 4X fuel points from March14-April 10th. I've gotten Disney gift cards with this offer before and they had $15-$500 that you could put on the card (pretty sure).
This may also be something I can watch in the future because they sell DL tickets at our location, then I can get cheap gas to drive to DL!;)

That should be .30 cents per gallon. It would be in increments of .10 cents.
For every $100 you spend in a month, you get .10 cents off a gallon.

Ours in 35 gallons and we also take two cars(and sometimes a couple of gas cans) and fill them all up at once. :cool1:

Us too. My DD follows me with another car and someone holds the nozzle while we switch. My truck holds about 25 gallons so we wait till it's nice and empty!

I get my gift cards at Giant Eagle at double rewards time and trying to figure out the Kroger deal. i bought enough gift cards last week at Giant Eagle to earn me 3.75 off a gallon of gas - which is 30 gallons of completely free gas. 30 gallong limit. So my savings in one trip to the pump is 3.75 x 30 gallons.
To earn a completely free tank of gas I bought around 900.00 in disney gift cards (so spent 900 bucks but in turn got almost $120.00 in free gas at ONE TIME)

Would you be so kind as to compare this for me to Kroger? Never bought at Kroger. But assume I took this same 900 on 4x gc week - what does that equate to and if I read your post correctly the post I could turn in per fill up is 1.00 off a gallon? Or did I read that wrong...

Thank you!!!!!

If you bought $900 in gift cards from kroger with 4x fuel points that would be 3,600 points. You are limited to using 1000 max for each fill-up and get up to 35 gallons. So each fill up is worth $35 dollars(we alway fill up both cars at once so use it all) . You would get 3 full fill ups and I fill up at $.60 provided you could use it all before it expired. If you bought the gift cards on April 1st they would expire May 31st. If you used it all you would save $126.00.

I do wish we had Giant Eagle where we live. I think their deal is better because there is no limit to how many points you use at one time. We had to make a very large purchase at Bestbuy last year and ended up with 12,000 fuel points. Some ended up expiring because even filling up once a week we could not use them all with the 1000 per fill up limit. If there had been no limit we would have been able to fill our car up for free several times.

Yes, but when I scanned the Kroger card at the pump it only showed .03.

SO, when you say increments of .10, if I spent $275 would it still be .20 instead of .30?

Either way, I know we had over $200 so at the least it should have been .20 off. Do you have to do anything other than scan your card? Do you have to enter anything else at the pump to redeem the points?

200 points is $.20 is savings. There is actually no such thing as .03 for gas savings at kroger. The smallest savings that displays or that you can us is $.10. Are you sure it did not say $.30?

Absolutely, positively, 100% sure.

I assumed (and maybe I am way off) that maybe people just get a .03 discount for having a Kroger card no matter if you have points on it or not. Could that be possible?
