Kroger 4x fuel points on gift cards again this weekend! 5/9-5/11

Is there a trick to the 4x gift cards rewards? I spend a couple minutes looking over the gcs every time I'm at Fry's (Kroger) and nothing is appealing enough to save $1.70 per $25 [17 gallons for my car and $25 gc = 100 points = 10% off] - 6% or so.
Of course, as soon as the promo is over I'll need something from Amazon, or want to go to Olive Garden...
Which cards do you buy, and what is the extra value to you?

6% is decent (Target red card is 5%) but I get close to 19% because my van uses 20 gallons, my Amex gives me 6% back at grocery stores, and I get another 5% toward my kids' required swim team fund raising.

I typically buy: Amazon, Target, Disney (pays for cruises). Occasionally I buy Sephora or Ann Taylor for a gift or Gap or Lands End for my kids' clothes. And Lowes or Home Depot whenever I need stuff for the house. If I know we're going to Carrabba's or Maggiano's, I pick up a card.

My Amex is Costco so I only get 3% gas but I've been using my Disney Visa for gas and that's only 1% so thanks for the reminder - need to switch cards!

I'm assuming the Disney gift cards don't count as "travel" for Amex? What about Southwest (or other airline) gcs?

6% for groceries is fantastic - may have to get a second Amex card - which type do you have if you don't mind saying?

Yes it's a system. Trying to live decently on a tight budget Amex blue preferred. 6% up to $6k on groceries then 1%. $75 annual fee.
