NOTE: The food, although named "Greek" resembled Greek in
name only. Very, very Americanized. My $32-steak was dry and her
$27-lamb was overcooked. Both had to be sent back to the kitchen.
The daughter had the sampler. Pretty small, 6-7 bites for the three
items. Poor room design makes for terrible acoustics, making it
one of the noisiest eateries in WDW - worse than Chef Mickey’s on
a bad day. As many people have offered, the service is VERY
spotty. We waited 19-minutes to see the waiter AFTER being
seated (5:54pm-6:13pm). Family bought me one of the a 6" podium
Sara Lee frozen birthday cakes - surprisingly it was quite yummy!

(I guess when you get to be a famous chef, you don't care about your
restaurant, as long as the bucks flow in - or it seems that way.)

Well, I've eaten there a few times and I've fallen in love with the whole roasted fish, it's moist, flavorful and I had it again this past Saturday night. Service can be a bit slow but I eat dinner after I've done the parks. I go to unwind, have a glass of wine, talk and take my time eating. We had the spreads, always good and greek/,mediteranean flavor is there, as I said I had the fish and my friend had the NY Strip (cooked perfectly medium as she ordered it. Can't complain about the meal, ambiance or service. I will say that we tend to eat later than most and I find all of Disney's Signature restaurants to be a much better experience done that way. I won't eat at Le Cellier, Yachtmen, Kouzizna, The Bistro de Paris before 8:30pm, much quieter, happier experience and less stressful!

Another fan of Kouzzina here! First of all, the breakfasts are all very good and for dinner, the Fisherman's Stew is absolutely a bowl of heaven!

The restaurant itself can be a little loud and I'll concede that I've had more authentic Greek food--but for a meal with Mediterranean flair--this is a good place.

The menu doesnt look very appealing to be honest. Would you say its better at breakfast or dinner???

While we haven't tried it for dinner yet, (due to mixed reviews), we ALWAYS do breakfast there. The breakfast is FANTASTIC. I think between DH & myself, we have tried everything on the breakfast menu :rotfl:

Everything has been GREAT :thumbsup2

My wife and I ate at Kouzzina with two other couples back in January and it was a great meal and experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The men in the group all had the Fishermans Stew and it was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I would recommend trying it.

I am a Hard Core Foodie. I've onlye aten there once--for dinner and the food was quite good. We also had a good server (Maryann?). Baffling was having ADR for opening time--no one there waiting to be seated, yet it was over 30 minutes before we were seated. ?????

We have only dined here once and it was definitely the worst dining experience I've had at WDW in 23 vacations there. We were 45 minutes past our ADR being seated, we were seated at a table next to a child in a high chair who screamed the entire time (yes I realize that this is not the problem of the restaurant), we had a server who was pleasant but didn't show up at our table very often and the worst part is my entree was served to me cold.

We were a party of 4 adults and we could not get out of there soon enough.

Our experiences at Kouzzina have been pretty positive. The restaurant is billed as mediterranean-style, not Greek. That leaves a lot of room for interpretation. There are definitely some flavors and preparations that are not common to other WDW restaurants, so if you are looking for something a bit different, but not radically so, Kouzzina is a good choice.

Atmosphere is busy and a bit noisy, but not overbearingly so. Service is solid. Overall the food is good and a decent value as far as Disney prices go.

We ate at Kouzzina in May, 2011 and had a positive experience which I reported here.
Hope it helps!

We also had a positive experience 18 months ago. There were 6 adults, and I think each ordered something different. Everyone said they enjoyed their meal enough they would return. Yes, it's noisy, but it was noisy when it was Spoodles, too.

We have been there for dinner 2 times and enjoyed our meal there both nights. It's really hit or miss on the DIS boards. Some people dislike it and some people like it. We had great service both times too! Enjoy! :)
