The menu looks appealing to me, but I have not heard it discussed much.

Current thoughts?

Thanks!

NOTE: The food, although named "Greek" resembled Greek in
name only. Very, very Americanized. My $32-steak was dry and her
$27-lamb was overcooked. Both had to be sent back to the kitchen.
The daughter had the sampler. Pretty small, 6-7 bites for the three
items. Poor room design makes for terrible acoustics, making it
one of the noisiest eateries in WDW - worse than Chef Mickey’s on
a bad day. As many people have offered, the service is VERY
spotty. We waited 19-minutes to see the waiter AFTER being
seated (5:54pm-6:13pm). Family bought me one of the a 6" podium
Sara Lee frozen birthday cakes - surprisingly it was quite yummy!

(I guess when you get to be a famous chef, you don't care about your
restaurant, as long as the bucks flow in - or it seems that way.)

I've been reading a lot of reviews of this place lately and it seems hit or miss on dinner, but gets pretty good reviews for bkfst. We havent eaten there yet, but I think we may try it for bkfst when we go back to WDW next year.

The menu has always looked like it could be good to me as well - unfortunately, DF doesn't like Kat Kora (on Iron Chef) and it's her restaurant, so since i've committed to spending the rest of my life with him, i've also probably committed to never eating there, lol. I'm curious to hear how people have felt about it too though, maybe if I ditch him for a girl's weekend I could try it.

We've only eaten here for breakfast and to this day I still crave the egg dish I ordered.

I may be a lonely voice, but I have had dinner and breakfast there and enjoyed both. The Fishermans stew is fabulous, so are the waffles. No complaints from me or the husband.

I actually really enjoyed it. I had ordered the whole fish which was spectacular :).

We've only been for dinner once but it ranks as one of the worst meals/dining experiences we've had in over 20 WDW vacations. I had the Greek lasagne, based on recommendation from our ever-absent server, and it was served to me ice cold. It took so long to get the server's attention and get him back to our table that the rest of my party (3 more adults) were just about finished eating by then. One of the others in my party enjoyed their meal (the fish stew); the other two (steak and I don't remember) were not impressed. Considering we waited 40 minutes past our ADR, it wasn't a magical evening.

I don't believe it's really fair to form an opinion on just one meal because any place can have an off night but honestly, it would take some convincing to get me to return any time soon.

We had a great meal there in August. The staff couldn't stop name-dropping Cat Cora but the food was fab, and a little different from most other Disney dining offerings.

I'm Greek-American, and rarely enjoy eating out at Greek restaurants because I can usually make it better myself. We had a good time at Kouzzina -- my husband loved the lamb shank, the spanakopita (spinach pie) was tasty, and my son still talks about the loukamades (kind of like doughnut holes, served there with raspberry and vanilla sauces). My favorite thing, oddly enough, were the Brussels sprouts, and they had the Greek coffee I love.

We stayed away from the sampler, since I'd read on the boards that it was tiny and a lousy value, and I was not impressed by the pastitsio (the Greek lasagna). But I would definitely go back for dinner and would love to try breakfast sometime.

We had dinner there October, 2010. I had the fish stew (delish---broth worth slurping and DH had a spiced chicked dish which he enjoyed for the novelty (for us) of the seasoning. We stayed at BWI CL and the lounge late afternoon snacks were from the Kouzzina kitchen and they were very good.

The breakfasts are to die for! Dinner service can be a bit chaotic and loud but breakfast is a bit more laid back.

We're fans:thumbsup2

Breakfast is a must do for us every trip. We also enjoy the dinner menu. The whole fish is to die for and my husband has tried just about everything else on the menu and liked it as well.

We love Kouzzina! We've been twice for breakfast, only once for dinner. All of our experiences there were positive and we eagerly anticipate going back for both meals. I literally fantasize about the pastitsio.

I liked it, my wife absolutely hated it. I had the sampler; the cinnamon stewed chicken was dull but the lasagna and lamb burger were excellent. My wife had the pork which she found inedible. I tasted it, it was not good

We are going to Kouzzina's in October for breakfast. We have never been to the restaurant, but the family is looking forward to it:goodvibes

We ate there in the beginning of August and had a great meal. Like one pp, we are Greek American and also are wary of eating Greek food out as it is never as good as your own. BUT this was a twist on Greek food. The Avro-lemeno soup was the best we have had outside of a Greek household (not at any restaurant). The lamb shank was excellent as was the dips for an appetizer. the skedalia -fried greek cheese was yummy too!

We had an excellent position near the serving part of the open kitchen and enjoyed speaking with one of the chefs - George. The Kitchen staff always shouts "Opah!" when ever they are flaming the skadelia in the fire. We enjoyed it and will definitely make a return there when we go in April next year!

I say give it a try!

Hi there! We were there last Sept and liked it so much, we are going back this October. I had the sampler and dh had the steak and we really liked both. The kids also enjoyed their pizza(adventurous I know;)) and loved their desserts.

Here is a pic of the sampler, I really enjoyed the lamb burger, which was a surprise because I don't typically care for lamb.

It was our anniversary this past Easter Weekend as well as our bdays and we were staying at BWI so we added it to the ADRs.

I was a very happy girl after walking around EPCOT all day. I had the wine flight and a margarita so I came back to ask if there were any openings for later ADRs. The chef met me at the door and told me to come back and mention him and they would give us a table.

It was packed when we came back but true to words, he took care of us and we got a table- with a great server, an older gentleman from NY. He might or might not have known my DH's favorite band member Ace Frehley, but he seemed to have knowledge about his youth so my DH was pretty convinced.

My DH had the Greek Lasagna and I had the Cinnamon Chicken. The server got us an anniversary cake and the chef sent out a side of lamb for me special. I had the wine flight there too, so needless to say, I had a great time. The food was very good in our opinions- tasty and soooo filling. Couldn't finish the cake so we gave it to a party behind us. We love food and we really have enjoyed every restaurant in WDW that we have eaten at so far, even with crappy service or dried food. There is always something about one or the other-food or service- that makes us want to give it another try.

We went there for dinner last Fall. One had the sampler, one had steak and I had the Fisherman's Stew. That broth the stew was in is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. I could live on it. I see others have posted about the stew also. We had a nice meal and good service. Worth a try on your part.
