Kouzzina - Opinions and Pics

just got a hold of the menus for Kouzzina by Cat Cora.
The restaurant opened very, very quietly Saturday in the former Spoodles space. They're calling it a pre-soft opening, but they are taking walk-ins.
Have a look.

We were excitied for her to open, but after seeing her menu on Saturday we decided to pass on this one. A bit to different for us, and definitely for the kids

There are a few reviews already floating around the boards. Can't wait to try it. We're Greek and I can honestly say everything on the menu and the photos I've seen so far are true Greek food.

Thanks for the info! Spoodles breakfast is our tradition so I was a bit disappointed when our reservation got changed but I kept it anyway. Now I can't wait to eat breakfast there next month!

At a guess, most places have their last breakfast seating at 10:55 am and their first dinner seating at either 4:00, 4:30, or 5:00. Places that don't serve lunch usually open at 5:00 for dinner, I think.

In true Disney fashion the kids dinner menu stinks.
I was really looking forward to the kids menu here and was hoping that Cat Cora would have some influence on it. Especially since she does the Disney special on Cablevision on getting kids to try regular food and not the kids regular choices.

Oh well - hope that changes along the way

I *love* the DISboards! I was disappointed that Kouzzina would not be open for our upcoming trip, but I heard from this thread about the soft opening. We changed our first night ADR's from Flying Fish to Kouzzina. I can't wait!

Kouzzina's a Disney-owned restaurant. This is the same type of kids' menu you'll see at all Disney-owned restaurants - and you'll probably see those as long as the children's dining plan remains so inexpensive.

of course I have to wonder if Cat would let her kids eat here.

My hunch is that she'd spring for stuff off the adult menu for her kids.
