Most Jewish people are reform/non secular I think it’s like 2/3rds and the other 1/3 is conservative/orthodox. Jewish people as a whole are a very very diverse group of people who all approach Judaism differently.I'm not Jewish or Muslim, but grew up around a lot of Jewish friends and neighbors and live in a very high-Jewish-population city, so I've been around everything from Hasidic to Orthodox to Conservative to bacon-loving rule-breakers. A very close friend has an orthodox sister and I've learned a lot about the rules she follows, both with diet and living (ie: no electricity on Shabbat).
When I lived in California, I had neighbors and friends who were Muslim, and got to know Halal rules too - which are very similar to Kosher, with a few small differences.
What I always found funny was how many American Jews who are conservative, here at least, will still follow the holiday traditions, and some even pray at synagogue daily - they'll generally be Kosher 90% of the time, but so many will break the rule for one thing - pork bacon. So much bacon! I can't say I ever had any Muslim friends eat bacon, even the ones who aren't super-strict. But most of my Jewish friends and neighbors go crazy for bacon.
I can’t picture an orthodox eating pork bacon but I could see a conservative Jewish person have a piece or two on occassion and a reformic/nonsecular generally doesn’t have a probation against it.
Bacon is also like the quasi terrestrial item they can’t have which makes it even more desirable lol.
