Do you think my dd 11 and I could share a chicken meal here? Or maybe three of us could share 2 meals? Wondering what the portion sizes are like?:confused3

Of all the TS restaurants i've been to i'd have to say Kona probably had serving sizes which were 'normal', even small compared to some other restaurants.

I've shared at a few TS restaurants quite successfully but Kona wouldn't have worked for DH and I.

You can have a look at some photos of the food at Kona cafe and get an idea of serving sizes on this thread:

I agree also. The entree portions where not that large. However, if you added on an appetizer, say the wings (they are huge), then you might could get by with sharing. Also, the bread they serve with the macadamia nut butter, well let's just say I could make a meal out of that! We love Kona, by the way!

ITA with the above posters!! Wonderful food, but not HUGE portions. You may be able to split if you get an appy and maybe dessert, too. Plus the delicious bread mentioned above!

I usually order the almond coconut chicken and think it would be large enough to share. You might need an additional salad if you are a large salad eater. I feel the piece of chicken is enough for 2, especially if you order an entree.

I think the portions at Kona are just right. Not too big and not too small. :)

If you get an appetizer, then maybe you could split a meal but still I wouldn't do it. :)

ditto. we ate there for a late lunch, and all of us ate our entire meal. But, we didn't get appetizer or dessert, we were comfortable.
