DH and I are considering which monorail restaurant (or maybe MK restaurant)to do before we hop over for parade and fireworks. I made ADRs for Crystal Palace, but now rethinking and Kona and Wave come to mind. Would love your opinions!

(already have ADRs for CG)

We haven't eaten at Kona (though it's on the list for May/June), but DH and I went to the Wave in Dec 08 for dinner. We really enjoyed it; we had Leighford as a server (a guy with six kids)! I had the lamb shank. It was ENORMOUS, far more than I expected; Leigh said it was 22 oz with the bone. The lentil stew was delish, too. DH had the tenderloin. He enjoyed it, but the portion was small compared to my mammoth dish. For dessert, I got the sorbet trio and he got the decadent flavors. I didn't like the lemon basil sorbet, but I don't really love basil. The other two were great. The lemon cornbread with vanilla panna cotta was uh-mazing!

Oh, and if you're on the ddp, you can get a smoothie there as a beverage. They were too sweet for me because I typically drink non-sweetened fruit smoothies with greens. DH got a milkshake!

Kona & The Wave are both very good. I don't see you going wrong with either of them.

Thanks, all! Does anyone have pics of The Wave's interior? For me, the decor is a big part of the dining experience!

Kona is ok.

Hubby and I really enjoyed the Wave. We stopped in once for apps and wine, and then once for dinner. It was quite good.
