DH is not thrilled that I have booked Akerhaus twice during our trip and has asked me if there is something else we can replace the lunch with (the other booking is breakfast). We are thinking either Tokyo Dining or Kona. I noticed they have the yummy Teriyaki steak as a plated special. If you are on the deluxe dining plan, do you also get your choice of an appetizer, or is it just the following:
Polynesian Plate Lunch - $14.99
Your choice of one of the following served with Sticky Rice and Macaroni Salad:
-- Pan-fried Chicken with Coconut and Mango Sauces
-- Grilled Teriyaki Steak with Grilled Pineapple Salsa
I would love to get the sticky wings appy...but that says for 2...or the pot stickers...
Or should we choose Tokyo Dining?

I don't know from experience but based on what I've read on the boards over the last few weeks I believe that you would also get an appetizer. If the appetizer is for two people then you and your husband could use your appetizer credit for the wings. I believe that there's one place that allows people on the DxDP to use one credit for the appetizer for two - but I believe that's Mama Melrose's. Have a blast. I'm going to be trying Kona for breakfast for the first time in just a couple of weeks!

You can order from the prix fixe menu, but you can also order the exact same items from the regular menu if you want them, since the deluxe plan includes an appetizer. And if you order them a la carte you don't lock yourself into the "no substitutions" rule on the prix fixe menus. If you order from that menu you CANNOT substitute your appetizer with something that is not on the prix fixe menu, no matter what dining plan you use to pay. And you and your husband could split the wings, unless he doesn't want the wings.

The plate lunch isn't a Prix Fixe; it is just an entree.

Yes, you still get an appetizer and dessert if you order it. I did in January (salad for appetizer, though not the wings).

You and your DH can share the wings (sometimes, you can get a half order for one person).
