Which is a better restaurant? I know both are different styles, family style versus sit down, but Im talking about the food and the quality of the food which is better I made ressies at O'Hana but Im having second thoughts.

Have eaten at both, and I like O'hana better for various reasons. I think the food has a better quality and the family style is a really cool feature. Some may beg to differ, but I love O'hana!!

We ate lunch at Kona and dinner at Ohana. We left MK at 1:00 for lunch at Kona. It was a nice quiet break from the park, the food was delicious (I had the pan asian pasta, hubby had a sandwich), but the desserts were the BEST - the kileau torte was to die for, and the kiddie cone was so fun. We would eat here again but wouldn't go out of our way for it.

Ohana was one of our favorite meals. We loved the shrimp, potatoes, salad, some of the meats, and especially the bananas foster. My youngest loved the singing and dancing and coconut races. It was really fun. We'll definitely return to Ohana.

So in my opinion, try both if you can, they were both good. But if you have to choose one, stick with Ohana.

We have only eaten at Kona and it was awesome, our best meal of the trip! We might try Ohana's this year though.

We definately prefer O'Hana. Just got back and ate there twice. Love their salad, wings and bread pudding.

We love 'Ohana much more than Kona. Kona wasn't that bad but for the money we rank 'Ohana over Kona for food and atmosphere.

Kona doesn't have much atmosphere, but the food is fantastic - our best meal of the trip! The waitress was also very helpful in giving information about different food choices - you could tell she had actually eaten the food and was not just giving a rehearsed speal (hmm, I'm not sure if I have ever written that word - how is it spelled??)

Kona - hands down. The food is light years ahead of O'hana and the service is excellent. And the desserts.... :thumbsup2

I used to like Ohanas best ...but they changed the menu and took all the stuff I loved off....So now Ill say Konas...is best....but Im sure Ohanas is still good...Just not best to me any more... ;)
