We will be at Epcot for the day and am deciding between these two restaurants. We have eaten at Kona, but not Kouzzina. After reading about how Kouzzina is closing for a short remodel, I'm having second thoughts as most people complained about the food, not decor. Since Kona is a short monorail ride away I thought it might be a good option. What do you think?

We ate at Kouzinna two weeks ago for the first time w/ 2 20-somethings DD and their husbands. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and our party included vegetarians, non-fish eaters, and my lil DGS. We'll go back.

As a note, Kona is not a 'short monorail ride' away. It's technically 2 monorail rides, unless you're planning on walking from the TTC to the Poly (takes roughly 10 minutes). It will still be 45ish minutes of wait/travel time to get there.

I love both Kona and Kouzzina but if I had to pick one for dinner it would be Kona! I prefer Kouzzina's breakfast but their dinner is good too. Not as good as Kona though!

Kouzzina was one of the BEST meals I had in disney last month..second only to California Grill

Thanks for the opinions. In my mind, it is a short monorail away. Thank you for pointing out the reality of it! I think we are going to stick with Kouzzina and save Kona for our May trip.

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks again everyone!

You can also walk from the TTC and make it a single monorail trip.

For what its worth, my family loves Kona and eat there every trip. We tried Kouzzina for the first time in August and will not return. My DW and 2 DS had the Fisherman's Stew which was salted to the point of being almost inedible.

I have not eaten at Kouzzina and dont think I will venture into it this trip due to all the mixed reviews but I have to say Kona has never disappointed. We have eaten there several several times as we go more than once each trip and it has NEVER disappointed, never.

My vote is for Kouzzina!! We ate at both Kouzzina and Kona last November and Kona was not the least bit memorable. We really enjoyed our dinner at Kouzzina - and the desserts!!!!

Kouzzina is probably the best non-signature restaurant on property. I love Kona, but Kouzzina is fabulous.
