Kona or GF Cafe for Breakfast

DH and I will be childless for a few hours while our 3 boys go on the GF pirate cruise. I thought we would have a nice breakfast while they are gone. Which restaurant would you suggest? I've always wanted to try Kona but not sure what to do. We will have a car so travel won't be an issue.

We LOVE Konas for Tonga Toast, atmosphere and great coffee! (No need to drive...just boat from GF to Poly and take monorail (right outside Konas) back.)

well considering both locations are excellent for you that day...You should consider GF cafe! that is my favorite place for breakfast....they make this cocktail called the Floridian Sunrise and it is DELICIOUS and they make AMAZING french toast...my boyfriend and father always get the omletes and they love them as well....have fun with either choice

I booked both, but GF Cafe - the french toast sounds SOOO yummy. I booked this for our first morning breakfast, I can't wait!!

The boat goes from MK to GF to Poly. You could take the boat to Poly and then the monorail back. I vote for Kona if you like French Toast. As the previous poster said, Tonga Toast (their version of French Toast) is awesome. A "must have" if you are at the Poly for breakfast. Here is a picture:

I would DEFINITELY do Kona Cafe.....you can't miss the Tonga Toast!

Either take the boat or walk the beach path to the poly (15 minute walk- leisurly pace!) Have that Tonga toast then either stroll the path back to kill a few minutes or hop the monorail as suggested and stroll the GF while you wait for the boys.

I would do Kona as well.. last time I ate at GF Cafe I was so disappointed....I have never gone back.
