I have been dreaming almost daily about the Kona French Press coffee I had at the Kona Cafe back in May, and I'm super excited to have it again on our trip in December. The problem is, we aren't planning on eating at the Kona Cafe this trip (loved it, but want to try some new things). Does anyone know if you can order the French Press at the sushi/coffee bar outside the restaurant? The bar menu on the Disney website only lists the single-serve blend, but surely they have the French press, too…

Come on, someone make my dreams come true!!

yes you can order it at the coffee bar

They are also the only place on property where you can get the 100% Kona (or the Kona blend) coffee to go i.e. to make in the morning in your room and they have it in bean form or they can grind it for you.

Cheers,

I don't have experience w/this personally but have read not long ago that you can ask for the French Press & as long as Kona isn't too busy & you don't mind waiting they will get it for you. If that is the case, I'd pick a slower time to go like as they open or late afternoon before the dinner rush.

Thanks, everyone!! I'll definitely be stopping in several times during our trip for it, and I'm going to pick up a bag of the beans as well!

princess aleya, it is so unbelievably good! You'll love it!

Yes it is good but it is just coffee! My wife drinks it all the time when we stay at the Polynesian but I wouldn't be making a trip there just for coffee.

Of course, if you are on the monorail anyways, why not?:rotfl2:
