no Mahi Mahi or kilueau tart!!!
We're eating there next week and I was looking forward to trying them both...
Oh well, the new menu looked pretty good to me.
OP: It's easy to send menu changes to Allearsnet. Simply go here:
http://www.allearsnet.com/forms/feedback.htm
And select "Update Allearsnet Information" as your subject line.
You might want to inform them here at the DIS as well, if someone hasn't already.
What the mickey ears is going on?! At first I saw the changes and thought Whew! My dish is still on there and reading all the complaining.... I seriously thought relax folks... but then it dawned my me, what if they change the dessert menu? I went over to Allears and sure enough they did!!!I can't even spell what it was I LOVED there ... like Creme b .... and now it's gone!
What is wrong with disney to remove my fav dessert??!Seriously disappointed BIG time!!!! I hate the desserts on there now.
What's special about the creme brulee at Kona? Don't they serve that everywhere?
Since the advent of the DDP, there have been tons of people lamenting the lack of variety between the different TS restaurants at WDW. Now that Kona has updated their menu with some new choices people are lamenting the fact that the menu has changed. Poor Disney - they can never win.
This thread cracks me up...

The banana cream creme brulee is soooooooOOOOooo good, I wanted to take my clothes off and roll all in it naked!
Me, too. I keep reading through this thread (and others like it) and thinking, don't most of these people eat out 90% of the time at restaurants like Olive Garden and Applebee's? They shouldn't exactly be shocked at the dumbing/blanding down of the WDW menus.
Hold your breath...it has a BANANA ON IT!!! WOW!!![]()
Honestly, I'd be more than thrilled if they did away with all of these ubiquitous menu selections that you find at every restaurant these days (ie creme brulee, mahi, prime rib) and brought out a few new, more adventurous selections. I think when people are on vacation, they're willing to try more unique things than they will at home at their neighborhood Red Robin...or maybe it's just me.
Kona is nothing at all like Applebee's or Olive Garden both of which have tasteless, bland food IMO. I avoid both like the plague.
What items on the new menu seem dumb or bland to you?![]()
