Wow what a nice find, we had a wonderful dinner here tonight. After flying down on Friday to check on or new home being built, we thought about trying a place we have never tried before. And let me say the Kona Cafe is a true Gem. Dw had the Filet , DD had the shrimp/scallops, and I had the Tuna Oscar. All our meals were prepared perfectly. We also had the duck pot stickers which were very good also. Dolly was our server and she did a wonderful job! Thank you Dolly.:thumbsup2
The only thing that detracted our meal was that the restaurant was very busy and very loud, but all in all we will go back again and again.

So glad to hear that your meals were so good! I'm looking forward to dinner there next month.

We love Kona Cafe We start each vacation with dinner there on our 1st night

We went to Kona on a whim on our 2006 Vacation. We enjoyed the dinner
so much we cancelled ADP for another restaurant and ate there on our
last night. The food is delicious! The honey butter and bread is great. We are
going back to WDW for the 5th time in 4 years this August.

Kona Cafe is a gem. For my family and I, it is one of our favorite breakfast spots. It has authentic Kona coffee, which is delicious, and great hearty breakfasts. It is a good late morning lunch if you plan on going into the park early and leaving after a few rides.:goodvibes

The bread at Kona, along with the bread at Le Cellier, is by far better than any others at WDW.

We are going in Sept. 2008. I was so disappointed that I could not get a Kona ADR, well last night DH told me to try again...and :woohoo: :woohoo: we got one!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: I have to go here at least once every trip!

Glad you enjoyed it!

KONA one of our favorites also. But it is very loud as you said. Of course once I have one of those lovely drinks with an umbrella in it, I no longer hear anything and talk very loud myself .. :rolleyes1 (hee hee). DH and I always get the filet.

PS: I am very very jealous of the "building a new house" part of your post! ( for you - I am just teasing about being mad)

PSS: Also love south Jersey. My mom lives in Cape May! :thumbsup2
