Kona Cafe question

My hubby and I want to do an early breafast at Kona Cafe on our December trip, around 8 a.m. Should we make PS or will we be able to walk in? Or both?

When are you going in Dec? Early December, you'll have no problem walking in. Mid to late, I'd make one just in case.

My rule of thumb is if I know where and when I want to eat, I always book a PS...just to be safe.
You may very well be able to walk in, but if you know what you want, Id go for it and book. You can always cancel if need be.

Kona is popular and fairly small. I would make PS just to be safe.

A week ago we just decided to go to Kona and we did not have a PS. I guess it was about 10am when we got there and there were plenty of tables. It was fantastic as usual!!

When we went in early December, people w/o ps's were turned away. Granted it was later in the morning, but why risk it?

The last time we went to the Kona for breakfast was late last fall, which is usually a slower time of the year, so we didn't bother to make PS. Big mistake! We waited for and hour and a half for a table.

PS don't cost anything, and can always be cancelled. Why take a chance?
