kona cafe from animal kingdom

We have reservations for kona cafe at 6:25 pm on our AK day. How long does it take to get to the polynesian and kona cafe especialy from animal kingdom. If we leave st closing timecon that day - 5 pm - will ee get to the restaurant on time?

How are you getting there? Bus to hotel? If you stay til closing and go that route, it's hard to say. You may have to wait through several buses, but should be fine.

Yes you should be fine if you are going directly from AK to Poly at 5 pm. The bus trip is about 20 minutes or so but you have to build in waiting time for the bus and at park closing you might have to wait for a bus or two. Plus if there is an ecv to be loaded that will hold you up a bit. Always a good idea to have 1-1 1/2 hrs travel time. If you get to Poly early you can play on the beach, walk around the beautiful resort or hit the bar!

You'll be fine leaving AK at 5 for your 6:25 at Kona. Plus, Kona isn't usually so booked that you can't have a little bit of flexibility there.

Just take the bus directly to Polynesian and no worries

If you think you'll be pressed for time, take the bus to TTC instead of the Polynesian. It will go straight there and you can walk to the Polynesian from TTC. If you take the Poly bus it will stop at Contemporary first, and possibly Blizzard Beach.

The other night I drove from Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Polynesian resort.
AKL is a few miles farther from the Poly than the Animal Kingdom. The drive was eight miles and took me about 15 minutes. No worries...
