Kona Cafe for dinner??? Pics??

I changed our ADR's from the Wave to Kona for dinner. The wave menu just didn't appeal to DD or DS. So we needed something on monorail route for dinner. Everyone raves about Kona Cafe. Any suggestions or pics you would like to share?TIA!!

I have to say that Kona is just about the most underrated restaurant (food wise) in Disney World. The food is just spectacular as are the desserts! I had and loved the macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi. SUPERB. It's always a must have ADR for me.

We loved Kona for dinner! Our last trip to Disney we stayed at the Polynesian and had plans to attend the luau. Well, it rained (ok it poured) for exactly 2 hours which of course was right before the luau was to start. They cancelled it and we were scramblinh to find dinner somewhere! We walked up to Kona and they put us on the wait list, only 35 minutes, yeah! I've got to tell you, this dinner was fabulous! We were pleasantly surprised and everything was delicious. I had the teriyaki steak which was soooo good. They also bring out this wonderful bread with macadamia nut butter! I agree with the PP that Kona is a secret gem in Disney dining. We're planning to eat there again.

I totally recommend the Filet - it's to die for!

Kona is really good. We love it, and are returning in September. You will be happy with your choice!

I don't have any pics, but I can tell you that Kona Cafe is AWESOME for dinner. Kona is a must do for us every trip . The prime rib and filet are to die for. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Just chiming in. Kona Cafe was our best meal of our trip April 3 - 10. I would definately do it.

My only possible complaint we have about the Kona Cafe is......

They aren't local to me! I have to wait to get to WDW before I can dine there!

FANTASTIC restaurant that not many know about (thats a wonderful thing.... easier to get ADRs!).

You will NOT be sorry!

I agree that Kona is wonderful! The best meal of our last trip. I had the filet, DH the teriyaki steak & DS a turkey dish that is no longer on the menu. All were fantastic as were the sticky wings & potstickers!

I can't wait to go back on our upcoming trip and hope they still have the pomogranite pork chop on the menu! It looks to die for!

We've had breakfast lunch and dinner and all were fantastic. Only bummer is they dropped the chowder off the menue.

We very much enjoyed the food but the atmosphere was nothing special. The chicken was fabulous!! My parents ordered the filet and the beef teryaki and they both wished they had ordered chicken- it was that good! The service was pretty slow though so not sure if we'll be back anytime soon.
