We are thinking we want to try Kona for the first time this trip, but looking at the menu we can't decide on breakfast or dinner??
Any suggestions?
Any suggestions?
I choose breakfast over dinner because Kona Cafe is the only place you can get a shrimp omelet. It's not on the menu, but it used to be and they will make one if requested.Dinner is very good as well. You order by menu at breakfast. If you're visiting the Kona, I'd do breakfast rather than lunch or dinner. If you like bananas, try the Tonga Toast.I love the Tonga Toast that is offered at the Kona Cafe for breakfast, haven't experienced the menu for lunch or dinner.
If you are going to Kona for Tonga Toast or Waffles, you can get them in Captain Cook's for much cheaper, so then I would suggest going for dinner![]()
ooohhhh , thanks for the suggestion......where can I find Captain Cook's??
is it a QS ?
thanks !
Both are good, but breakfast wins for me. Last time, I got the Tonga Toast, it was good but a little too sweet for my liking. Next time, I'm doing the pineapple-macadamia pancakes. And of course, the Kona pressed coffee.![]()
